PROJECT DESCRIPTION
With the target of protecting some of Islamic Cairo’s oldest and most valuable buildings, SHS was awarded a direct order contract with unprecedented tasks for a private Egyptian company. All work was done in the high density Islamic monument area with minimum disruption to daily activity.
One truly innovative task was the protection and excavation of the 900 year old Saleh Talea Mosque using micro-tunneling and soil injection techniques up to six metres deep.
SHS was also awarded a contract involving the rehabilitation of the utilities in EL Ghouria st.
Because of SHS’ high quality performance, we were awarded several similar contracts from the same clients.
